At United Way of Dane County, we’re proud to be the unifying force that brings the community together. We’re building a Dane County where everyone has what they need to succeed, and that includes working women

Join Us!

To expand professional development opportunities for Dane County women, and to grow our Women United Network and reach more women in the workplace, we’re establishing Women United at Work, a Dane County Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) Network. Through this effort, we will empower Ambassadors at companies to gather women for professional development and making an impact in Dane County.

This new network is an opportunity for companies to engage their female workforce, giving them more opportunities to connect and grow through Women United resources and programming:

  • Women United personal and professional development events.
  • Volunteer engagements focused on community well-being.
  • A network of local Women’s ERG leaders for peer support, and to share best practices, equip and empower women to lead.

Why partner with Women United at Work?

Build and grow your women’s Employee Resource Group!

  • Access to learning and development opportunities to engage your members.
  • Connections with community-wide ERG leaders who might be doing it differently.
  • Broaden your perspective from women in other industries.
  • Resource bank for speakers, professionals, tools and best practices.
  • Access to group volunteer engagements.

Don’t have an active Women’s ERG?

No problem! As a Women United Workplace Ambassador, you can still join our network and share these opportunities to benefit your staff members and create belonging for your staff. While our programming is tailored for women in the workplace, all are welcome to participate.

Leverage our events for your staff or ERG engagement

  • May 16: 13th Annual Women United Brunch, a gathering to support women’s financial security and celebrate our Woman in Philanthropy honoree.
  • June 4: Women United at Work Summit, a gathering of our women’s ERG network. For leaders of local women’s ERGs to share best practices and support one another.
