Women United
Investing in Women, Igniting Change
Who We Are
Women United is a network of more than 1,200 women across Dane County who are driven, generous and deeply committed to uplifting others. With a mission to help more women and their families find pathways toward financial security, we pride ourselves on being a safe space for women to come together to amplify our collective impact.
What We Do
Through gifts of $1,000 or more annually, Women United members invest in a community where more women can succeed and reach their potential. Through our collective investment, we empower United Way to create real change for women and their families through the Financial Security pillar of the Plan for Community Well-Being. And our personal and professional development events provide thoughtful time and space for members to set and achieve goals while building a supportive network of women who care about our community.
Women United is a place where you can be bold, vulnerable and, most importantly, yourself!

A Message from Faatima Khan
Council chair, Women United
Head of People Engagement and Community Partnerships, WPS
“I am so proud that just last year, Women United invested over $97,000 back into our community to support our vision of a Dane County where ALL women can succeed and reach their potential. Because we know that when more women are financially secure and on pathways towards success, entire generations of families are better positioned to thrive.”
