United Way brings people together to help make Dane County stronger. One of the ways we do this is through volunteerism – mobilizing the caring power of our community to make meaningful and lasting change. The Holiday Wish List is the premier resource for holiday volunteerism and donations. It gives people in our community the opportunity to share the giving spirit and help others during the holiday season.

Post your holiday wishes wants and needs on our VolunteerYourTime.org website today! As the holiday season is quickly approaching, we want you to share your wish list and volunteer opportunities with the community. Volunteers are always looking for ways to give back during this season. Please make us aware of all the wonderful opportunities available that will make an impact on your organization and the clientele you serve.
We can’t fix all of the issues affecting our community overnight, but we can unite to address the most urgent needs facing families today.
Submitting your holiday needs on VolunteerYourTime.org is simple and easy to do. All posts will go live in November.
How to Register Your Projects
- Log into your VolunteerYourTime.org account
- Select ‘My Nonprofit’ at the top of your screen
- Select the ‘Opportunities’ tab
- Select “Create New Opportunity”
- Complete required fields
- From the Initiative drop down menu, select “2026 Holiday Wish List”
- NOTE: For in-kind donation needs, please select “Non-Profit Wish List” under the Interest & Abilities section
- Submit project information
