Madison, WI (April 19, 2019) – United Way of Dane County is thrilled to announce our official partnership with Forward Madison FC.
This partnership unites two organizations with a mutual purpose to build community and to work together to celebrate unity, diversity and innovation.
“A remarkable synergy exists between Forward Madison and United Way of Dane County,” explains United Way President & CEO Renee Moe. “By working together, we will be able to share our missions with more people, and ultimately create a bigger impact in our community.”
“Our partnership with United Way of Dane County is another example of the work we are doing to build a community-focused club,” adds Peter Wilt, Forward Madison’s Managing Director. “We’re looking forward to supporting their initiatives to make not only Madison, but all of Dane County, a great place to live for everyone.”
Examples of this ongoing partnership include a soccer clinic at United Way’s Seasons of Caring: Community Kickoff on Tuesday, August 20, and a special United Way spotlight night during Forward Madison’s home match against South Georgia Tormenta FC on Saturday, September 7.
Forward Madison is highlighting several other nonprofits during their other home matches, and as the official nonprofit partner, United Way is thrilled to see the community come together to support multiple deserving causes that invest in families and community building.
