Madison, WI – United Way of Dane County welcomes seven new members to its 2016-2017 Board of Directors, following an election at our February 25th Annual Meeting. The Board is comprised of community leaders who guide United Way in changing lives in the critical areas of Education, Income and Health – the building blocks of a stable life.

“Our gratitude runs deep for our Board members who volunteer their valuable time and expertise, while inspiring our community with their passion to create change,” said Renee Moe, President and CEO of Dane County. “Our Board is incredibly important to upholding high transparency and accountability standards, ensuring the community’s generosity is invested wisely. Together, with the Board’s leadership, our community will continue this critical work to produce measurable results that will change lives in Dane County.”

United Way’s new Board members include:

  • Ruben L. Anthony, Jr., Ph.D, President & CEO, Urban League of Greater Madison
  • Corey Chambas, President & CEO, First Business Financial Services
  • Kevin Conroy, President, CEO & Chairman, Exact Sciences
    • Conroy will also serve as United Way’s 2016 Campaign Cabinet Chair and will lead the 2016 Community Campaign
  • Claudio Diaz, Chief Human Capital Officer, Wipfli, LLP
  • Dave Florin, President & Partner, Hiebing
  • Katy Sai, Founder & CEO, StoryBridge.tv
  • Mya Johnson, Social Worker, MMSD
