Off the Porch Bluegrass Band, Sparetime Bluegrass, MadFiddle, The Oak Street Ramblers, Old Tin Can String Band, Daylight in the Swamp and Dave Landau—The King of Children’s Music will present a family friendly bluegrass benefit concert for United Way of Dane County on Sunday, February 9th at 1:00 p.m. at The Barrymore Theatre, 2090 Atwood Avenue, Madison WI.  All of the performers are contributing their time and talent, and all proceeds will go to support United Way to make our local community better educated, safer and healthier for all.This is the 13th annual concert, and has seen strong support in the past by serious bluegrass fans.  Admission for this family-friendly concert will be $10 for adults, and $5.00 for children 5-12 years of age ($20 maximum per family).  Tickets may be ordered at http://www.barrymorelive.com/_unitedway.htm but will also be available at the door.

About Dave Kinney
Dave Kinney worked at Oscar Mayer/Kraft Foods for 30 years in the Finance area before retiring in 1996.  Since then he has been volunteering with the Oscar Mayer/Kraft Foods R.E.A.D.I. (Retired Employees Are Dedicated Individuals) group on various projects.  The company rehired Dave for twelve years (2001-12) as a United Way Loaned Executive.
