According to the Center of Disease Control, one in three adults age 65 or older fall each year with various results from minor injuries, broken bones or even death.

The CDC offers several recommendations to reduce the chances of falling by exercising regularly, asking doctors or pharmacists to review their medications to see if any cause dizziness or drowsiness, having their eyes checked at least once a year and update their lenses if needed, and make their home safer.
