Service Dogs • Service dogs are trained for people with physical disabilities to help them live a fuller and more independent life. Dogs perform tasks such as turning light switches, tugging off clothing, picking up dropped objects, pulling manual wheel chairs and other special needs. Volunteer puppy raisers and volunteer foster trainers raise the dogs.

Case Management • Offers a "Low Vision" support group for elderly persons who have had visual limitation since birth or are currently experiencing visual deterioration due to disease or cataracts. Meetings provide technical therapies, information about visual aides and community resources, and the opportunity to share coping strategies.

Home Chore Volunteer Program • Serves as the lead agency and works with area coalitions for the elderly to coordinate volunteer home chore services for elderly persons so that they may remain in their homes.

After-School Program • A state licensed and city-certified program that provides a variety of safe, nurturing, and structured activities for children and youth (ages 5 to 12).

Students Organized Around Responsibility (SOAR) • Contains three focus areas: leadership, community service, and social interaction/recreation. It offers a safe environment for youth ages 12 to 17 who participate in planning and implementation of the program.

Senior Services • Includes social and recreational activities, personal bookkeeping and transportation assistance, other concerns as needed, and nutritional meals and snacks.

Madison Interpreters' Collective • Program provides translation/interpretation services for parents who have children in school allowing for a greater connection to the schools. Program is being piloted at Lincoln and Leopold Elementary schools.

Worker's Rights Center • Volunteer driven community resource center that provides low-wage workers and their employers access to information, advocacy resources, referrals and training to assist them in successfully resolving workplace problems. Serving primarily immigrant Latino workers, program will help all low-wage workers not only maintain stable, decent paying jobs but also develop their leadership abilities and community activism.
