Promoting Independence • Address the service gap between minority community members, particularly Hmong, Lao, Cambodian, and other refugee and former refugee seniors, and their mainstream counterparts.
REST • Provides training and emotional support to caregivers of former refugee seniors including Southeast Asian population. The program integrates fun activities as well as training so that diverse caregivers obtain needed information and resources to provide better care to their loved ones.

21st Century Careers • Offers specially targeted group and individual programming for at-risk youth that prevents and decreases school dropout and truancy rates, teen pregnancies, gang participation rates, dependence on alcohol and other drugs and participation in criminal behaviors. Through special supportive social and recreational activities, youth learn positive social skills and develop educational goals.
Customized Workforce Training • Prepares unemployed and economically disadvantaged individuals for employment in clerical and administrative support positions with local hospitals, clinics, and insurance/medical billing companies.
Fatherhood Responsibility • Works to address the needs of low-income, non-custodial and non-resident fathers to help them maintain a positive presence in the lives of their children through educational and support services.
Job Services Network • This program provides employment counseling, job coaching, referrals to community resources and other employment training agencies, assistance in accessing scholarships for higher education and job referral and development services for economically disadvantaged adults in Dane County's minority community.
Schools of Hope/Achievement Connections • A public school-based program focused on increasing the ability of our youth to achieve in school, with an emphasis on middle and high school math and reading. The goals of the program are to improve academic performance, increase collaboration among providers within the school and recruit and train volunteers to deliver effective tutoring for middle and high school students.
Single Family Home Ownership • Helps larger, low-income families build financial assets through home ownership and financial counseling. The program is operated through a partnership that includes the Urban League, U.S. Bank and Wisconsin Affordable Housing Corp. Houses are purchased in various Madison neighborhoods and then undergo substantial rehabilitation. Rent is less than market value. At the end of the rental period, participating families have the right to purchase the house at an affordable price with no down payment.
