Asian Outreach Program • Asian Outreach workers assist Asian families, who may not speak English as their native language, to access programs of the Kennedy Heights Community Center and other health and human services in the community. This program helps adults alleviate isolation caused by language and cultural barriers through provision of translation and interpreter services, home visits, teaching of self-sufficiency skills and information and referral.
Early Childhood Program • Provides preschool child development services for low-income, at-risk families so that their children can function at a level with their peers when they reach school age.
Children's Program • Offers recreational, educational, social and advocacy programming for at-risk, low-income and minority children living in the Kennedy Heights town houses on the Northeast side of Madison.
Teen Program • Supports recreational, educational, social and advocacy programming for at-risk, low-income and minority youth living in the Kennedy Heights town houses on the Northeast side of Madison.
Girl Neighborhood Power • An intensive after school, evening and weekend leadership program for girls ages 9 - 16. GNP programming emphasizes academic achievement, health, community service and leadership skills. The goal of GNP is to increase girls' success in making healthy decisions regarding school, home, community and self. GNP provides homework completion support, academic tutors, enrichment activities and helps increase positive school connections among girls and their families.
