Volunteer Consulting Service
The Volunteer Consulting Service matches volunteer consultants with our partner agencies. It's a free service - partner agencies just have to complete the Best Practices Self-Assessment Tool. This tool helps agencies evaluate their current capabilities by identifying their areas of strength as well as those that need attention and development.
Once an agency knows what practices they want to work on, they can request the services of a volunteer consultant. The areas of consultation include: governance; legal; human resources; fiscal; records/data; programs; consumer awareness and responsiveness; volunteer management; planning, evaluation and continuous agency improvement; fundraising and revenue generation; and marketing.
